LIME (U.S.A) (RUTACEAE)
This citrus fruit is the cousin of Lemon, grown mostly in tropical climates. The Essential Oil is extracted from the outer rim of the fruit, the aroma is pleasant and up lifting and is a good addition in any alert/energy synergy or blend. Just like Lemon, Lime the fruit is a natural deodorizer and it is recommended for the replacement of chemical based under arm deodorant.
CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS: Linalol, lemonene, camphene, citral, cineols, pinenes, sabinene, cymene.

PROPERTIES: 1. Astringent 2. Disinfectant 3. Natural bleach 4. Antiseptic
ANECDOTAL INFORMATION: Its antiseptic qualities make Limewater a good replacement for chemical based mouthwash. For bad breath or gum problems, I recommend to squeezed half a Lime (or Lemon) in the container of a Water Pick and use daily as usual.
